Flood-It! • Last updated: 23 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Flood-It! mobile game ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We built Flood-It! to respect your privacy: we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts. The App is provided by an independent developer.
We do not collect personally identifiable information directly. The App and the third-party services it uses may automatically process the following:
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Device & technical info | Device model, OS version, language, screen size, crash logs | Analytics, stability |
| Usage & gameplay events | Screens viewed, games started/won, mode selected, session length | Improve the game |
| Crash diagnostics | Stack traces, device state at the time of a crash | Fix bugs |
| Advertising identifiers | Google Advertising ID (AAID), approximate/coarse signals used by the ad SDK | Show ads |
Your game progress, stars, streaks and settings are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us.
We do not sell your personal information.
The App uses the following Google services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Depending on your consent and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. In regions such as the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we show a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads. You can change or withdraw consent at any time from within the App, and you can reset or limit ad personalization using your device's Ads settings (Google Advertising ID).
Rewarded ads are always optional — you only see them if you choose to watch one.
Flood-It! is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In line with the Google Play Families policy and COPPA, ad content is configured to be suitable for a general audience. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Analytics and crash data are retained by Google/Firebase according to their standard retention periods (typically up to 14 months for analytics event data, and a limited window for crash reports). On-device game data persists until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the App.
Data transmitted by third-party SDKs is sent over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. While no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we rely on Google's industry-standard security for the services the App integrates.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
